Critics Choice Awards 2023 baru saja usai digelar pada Senin (16/1) WIB di Fairmont Century Plaza Hotel Los Angeles, AS, yang sayangnya diwarnai berkurangnya para bintang yang hadir karena banyak selebritis positif COVID-19 setelah acara Golden Globes 2023 pada minggu lalu.
Jamie Lee Curtis, pemeran “Everything Everywhere All at Once” dan pemain “The Banshees of Inisherin” Colin Farrell dan Brendan Gleeson hanya bisa mengirimkan penyesalan mereka dari tempat karantina.
Namun demikian, Hollywood tetap bertahan dan para kritikus memilih karya favorit mereka tahun ini. Asia berjaya dengan kemenangan sejumlah proyek film dan serial, yaitu film “Everything Everywhere All at Once” dan “RRR” serta drama “Pachinko”.
